Utah's Top Cop Says He Would Testify FOR Medical Marijuana

Utah’s Attorney General Mark Shurtleff has said that he would support his state considering legalizing medical marijuana. Shurtleff has just completed months of intensive cancer treatment after being diagnosed with colon cancer last year. He said he considered, but never used marijuana while he was going through his treatment.

He did say that he talked to several other cancer patients that traveled out of state to get medical marijuana. His experience of being so sick that he couldn’t keep the nausea pills down left him with an understanding of why some patients need it, and why a medical doctor would recommend it.
