U.S. Government Has Been Supplying Weed to This Florida Man for 28 Years

Irvin Rosenfeld has been smoking joints regularly for twenty-eight years. “So have many of us,” you might say, but the joints he’s been smoking are special. They were provided by the United States Government!

Colorado Allowing Cities to Ban Dispensaries Gets Challenged

The controversial HB 1284, the bill that regulates Colorado’s dispensary industry has a provision that allowed municipalities to ban dispensaries. Some cities in Colorado have done just that. Aurora and Broomfield Colorado are two cities where there is a ban on dispensaries, and there are others considering such a ban. Many activists have speculated that the ban provision in the bill would be challenged in court some day.

After years of lobbying in the Empire state by activists including patients, physicians and medical marijuana advocate groups, New York may soon join fourteen other American states with medical cannabis laws. a public meeting that was held Wednesday with the Iowa State Pharmacy Board to decide whether to recommend marijuana be legalized for medical purposes. The board reviewed 13 questions that they were legally bound to discuss before rescheduling marijuana. The questions started off with a discussion about marijuana’s potential for abuse.

Each day we receive hundreds of emails and phone calls asking for guidance on the latest regulations. The legal system is confusing at best. Recently I testified before City Council to clarify the need for CLEAR, CONCISE and CONSISTENT legislation.
