Marc Emery gets Five Years in Prison

Canadian Cannabis Activist, Marc Emery was finally handed his official fate on Friday afternoon by a US District Judge in a Seattle Court. Judge Ricardo Martinez sentenced Marc to the expected five years behind bars for selling millions of cannabis seeds by mail and phone order to US citizens. The five year sentence had been agreed to as part of a plea agreement that lawyers, the US government and the Canadian government have been working on reaching for five long years prior to his extradition to a Seattle detention Center back in May of this year.
