When I went to sign off the lease on 8/6/2010 Greg Sokut the Assistant Director, told me I also had to sign a no trespass, I refused and was told if I didn't sign it they would evict my daughter and grandkids so under duress I signed it. Whn I objected to not being able to see my family he left me with the impression he didn't really care if I went to their houses or not. I mean after all they have violent offenders, convicted pedophiles and convicted drug dealers living there why should they worry about me. Anyway I violated the no trespass and babysat for my daughter one day and one of her neighbors called housing and told them I was there and Greg sent the Community Housing Officer, Gange, to arrest me. They actually were going to take me to jail but I talked my way out of it however I did get a no trespass for life from them. Which pretty much means as long and my kids and their families live in Housing I can never go to their homes and visit them. They claim they saw me at my sons house one day but have no real proof they were invited in to search and claimed they didin't need to because they knew I was upstairs...a week later they came by with a citation and to arrest me, my son told them I had moved to Washington which I have, so I don't really know what to tell them. I would also add that my card expired on 01/09/2010 and I didn't renew it. I am in no violation of any state or federal law yet they will not drop the trespass. Well there ya have it. The really disapointing thing about all this was the lack of support from the movement in Montana that I put myself on the line for.
