A tragic death at a Colorado Rockies game earlier this year is now being blamed on marijuana and alcohol. Robert Seamans was trying to slide down a metal stair railing during the seventh inning of a May 24th game with the Arizona Diamondbacks. According to the autopsy, he fell between 20 and 30 feet and struck his head on concrete. He was declared brain dead about 12 later on May 25th.
Rockies spokesman, Jay Alves said that the stadium, which was built in 1995 complies with Denver’s building codes, but they are always reviewing their policies and venue to assure fan safety, although he admitted that Seaman’s death did not prompt a special review of safety at the stadium. The report on Seamans’ death from the Denver medical examiner’s office reported that the fan had marijuana in is system and that he also had a blood alcohol level of 0.19 percent, twice the legal limit for driving in the state. The coroner concluded that his death was caused by the marijuana mixed with alcohol that was a significant contributing factor in the 27-year-old’s death.
It was unclear whether Seamans had purchased alcohol at the stadium before his fall. Alves said the Rockies have a program to deal with intoxicated fans but declined to discuss details other than to say the ballclub bans alcohol sales after the seventh inning. If it seems unfair that marijuana is being blamed along with alcohol in this issue, remember the stadium IS named “Coors Field”.

So falling thirty feet onto his head was o.k., (In this coroners particular opinion) It was the weed and the drink that killed him.
I believe maybe he was an idiot:
A: He was twice as drunk as he needed to be.
B:He tried to rail slide with no skate board.
