The former police officer that has helped scores of cannabis consumers to “never get busted again” is, himself, in hot water. Texan Barry Cooper who produced and starred in the DVD “Never Get Busted Again” was arrested on charges of filing a false police report and for possessing a small amount of marijuana on Tuesday night. Barry cooper has made many enemies within the narcotic officer set because, as a former narcotic officer himself, he educates people about all the tricks they use to try and arrest cannabis consumers.

Cooper has recently begun a “kopbusters” campaign to try and turn the tables on law enforcement. He has made a few videos of himself, luring police to planted “citizen’s evidence” to see if they would pocket cash that he included in the planted packages that also had fake drug paraphernalia. In his video, indeed it appears that at least one police officer did take money from one of his sting operations. But, it seems that the police are not amused with citizens conducting their own sting operations. Police came to Mr. Cooper’s home, under the pretense of the Class A misdemeanor of making a false report, and got a warrant for his arrest, a warrant to search his house and seize computers, phones and other digital media. Police ultimately found about a gram of roaches in the house, enough to arrest his wife as well. Both Barry Cooper and his wife Candi Cooper posted the $2000 bail and were released from the Williamson County Jail late Tuesday night.

Here is the video that started the latest firestorm:
